Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, including managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, including cocktail and wine service with knowledge of spirits and wine pairings.
• Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing effective sales techniques.
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations during food handling, serving, bussing, and cleaning duties.
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and sales transactions.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards required for safe food industry operations.
• Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation enhances guest interactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
• Additional experience in host/hostess duties or bartending roles can be advantageous for providing comprehensive guest support.

Pay: $23.54 - $24.90 per hour
