Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up stations or restocking supplies

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash efficiently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation certifications prior to employment
• Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
