Restaurant Server

Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - Omaha is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive service and support daily restaurant operations. This role involves welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, answering menu questions, delivering orders, processing guest checks, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant and brewery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service
• Present menus and answer basic questions about food, beverages, and restaurant offerings
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff
• Enter orders into the POS system and confirm order details
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond to routine requests
• Process payments and assist with guest checks according to restaurant procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining and service areas
• Clear and reset tables as needed
• Restock napkins, utensils, menus, glassware, and other service supplies
• Communicate guest requests, special orders, and concerns to appropriate team members
• Assist coworkers during busy service periods to maintain smooth restaurant operations
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
• Support opening, closing, and other routine restaurant duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous server, restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful
• Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to guests
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy
• Able to manage multiple tables and customer requests efficiently
• Comfortable learning POS systems, menu information, and restaurant procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
