Restaurant Server

Theo's Cozy Corner Restaurant is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive service and support daily restaurant operations. This role involves welcoming guests, taking and delivering orders, answering menu questions, maintaining organized dining areas, and working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond to service requests.
• Process customer payments and operate the POS system accurately.
• Provide receipts and assist with routine checkout requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining and service areas.
• Reset tables with clean plates, utensils, napkins, and other service items.
• Restock dining-room and service supplies as needed.
• Communicate customer requests and concerns clearly with kitchen and management staff.
• Support opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures.
• Work cooperatively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management.

Qualifications

• Previous server, restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple guest requests efficiently.
• Comfortable learning menu information and POS procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
