Restaurant Server

Amrheins Restaurant is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive guest service and support daily restaurant operations. This role involves greeting guests, explaining menu items, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus and answer questions about food, beverages, and menu options.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond to requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Process customer payments and operate the POS system as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, dining areas, and service stations.
• Reset tables and replenish utensils, napkins, and other service supplies.
• Respond professionally to routine guest concerns and notify management when necessary.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant service procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties.
• Work cooperatively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, serving, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly and professional approach to guest service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to learn menu information and POS procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
