Job Summary

Maccheroni Republic is seeking a friendly, attentive, and dependable Restaurant Server to help create a welcoming dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.

The Restaurant Server will assist guests with menu selections, accurately communicate orders to the kitchen, serve food and beverages, and help maintain a clean and organized dining area. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing courteous and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them feel comfortable in the restaurant.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options when needed.
• Take orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check food presentation and order accuracy before serving.
• Respond to guest questions and service requests courteously.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers.
• Process payments and handle transactions accurately when required.
• Keep tables and dining areas clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Good teamwork and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends when scheduled.
• Any required food-handler certification must comply with local regulations.
