Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas by bussing tables and assisting with general sanitation duties.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant setting, including fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and transaction processing.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is preferred; cocktail experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
