Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Experience

• Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures in a restaurant environment
• Experience with food industry standards related to serving, food preparation, and guest services is highly valued
