Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing the guest experience and increasing sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery to guests
• Address guest inquiries promptly, resolve issues professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Assist in setting up dining areas, restocking supplies, and supporting team members during busy periods

Requirements

• Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
