Restaurant Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials, utilizing upselling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math for accurate billing.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus, including food preparation techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00 per hour
