Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service for all guests
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality

Qualifications

• Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred; familiarity with the food industry standards is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar transaction platforms
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and order processing tasks
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during peak hours seamlessly
• Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; kitchen or food industry background is beneficial
• Capable of standing, walking, and moving around for extended periods throughout shifts
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and guest services principles
