Restaurant Server

Walter's is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive service and create a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves welcoming guests, explaining menu items, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient restaurant service. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Present menus and answer questions about food, beverages, and menu options.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests clearly.
• Enter orders into the POS system and confirm order details.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Check on guests during their meals and respond to service requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, hosts, and other servers to maintain smooth service.
• Communicate dietary requests and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare and reset tables before and after guest visits.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service stations.
• Handle guest questions and routine service concerns professionally.
• Follow restaurant procedures for service, sanitation, and food safety.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other routine restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, server, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Friendly and professional approach to guest service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and priorities during busy periods.
• Comfortable learning and using POS systems.
• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service standards.
