Day Server – ALMA Fajitas & Ritas (Tuesday- Sunday)

Job Description

ALMA Fajitas & Ritas is looking for enthusiastic, professional, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our team! We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, creating memorable dining experiences, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Our servers are expected to take ownership of their sections, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly, and professional service.
• Guide guests through the menu, offer recommendations, and confidently explain food and beverage selections.
• Accurately take orders, including dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper service timing.
• Anticipate guest needs, refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain clean tables.
• Process payments accurately and thank guests for dining with us.
• Assist with running food, preparing approved beverages, bussing tables, and answering phones when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked section throughout the shift.
• Complete assigned opening, running, and closing duties, including side work.
• Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and teammates to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food, beverages, and basic restaurant operations.
• Willingness to assist coworkers and take initiative without being asked.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow management direction.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
