Restaurant Server - Evening

Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Evening Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage team.

This position offers approximately 5 evening shifts per week, averaging 5 hours per shift. Candidates must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

We are looking for someone who enjoys providing excellent guest service, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant menus, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
• Process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and room charges.
• Complete accurate end-of-shift cash-outs, payment reconciliation, and daily sales reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, bar, and service areas throughout each shift.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing cleaning duties, including wiping tables, sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and cleaning service stations.
• Ensure all end-of-shift responsibilities are completed before leaving.
• Address guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Work independently while maintaining efficient service and a clean, welcoming restaurant environment.
• Assist with other Food & Beverage duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage responsibilities without constant supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling cash, processing payments, and completing end-of-shift reports.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift.
• Valid Serving It Right certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

• 5 evening shifts per week
• Approximately 5 hours per shift
• Flexible availability required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidates must be able to work independently during evening restaurant operations.
