Restaurant Server/Bartender

Shifts Available

• Brunch (6:30am to 2:30pm availability)
• Dinner (3:30pm to 9:30pm availability)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with basic math proficiency.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Support bar operations, contributing to a lively atmosphere while maintaining professionalism.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in restaurant dining settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
• Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge that enhances your ability to assist guests confidently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with serving in an upscale restaurant or lively bar environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills paired with hospitality expertise to foster guest relations and team collaboration.

Pay: $15.10 - $32.00 per hour
