Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with basic math skills
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen support tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food safety practices

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and upselling opportunities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction
