Restaurant Service Associate

Job Summary

South City Kitchen Buckhead is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Restaurant Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations. This role involves assisting guests, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and working closely with team members to provide an efficient and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with taking and processing customer orders accurately.
• Support food and beverage preparation and service according to established procedures.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Assist guests with menu questions and general requests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Restock food, beverage, dining, and service supplies throughout each shift.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist servers, kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members during busy service periods.
• Prepare service areas and supplies before and during each shift.
• Assist with point-of-sale and customer payment procedures as assigned.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns politely and professionally.
• Support opening, closing, and general restaurant maintenance duties.
• Communicate customer needs and operational issues to supervisors.
• Perform other restaurant service and team-support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, reliable, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
