Restaurant Service Worker

Job Summary

Butcher & The Boar is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations. This role assists with guest service, food and beverage support, dining area preparation, cleanliness, and teamwork to help provide an efficient and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with taking and communicating food and beverage orders accurately.
• Support food and beverage preparation and service as assigned.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-prepared dining and service areas.
• Assist with setting and resetting tables and service stations.
• Communicate guest requests and special instructions to appropriate team members.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.
• Monitor dining areas and assist with maintaining a comfortable guest environment.
• Follow established food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Restock supplies, utensils, and service items as needed.
• Assist with clearing dishes and maintaining clean service areas.
• Respond to routine guest questions and direct concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Work cooperatively with restaurant staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during busy periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and established service procedures.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing active restaurant duties.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
