Restaurant Service Worker

Job Summary

CITYWALK EATERY is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role involves assisting guests, handling food and beverage orders, supporting food service, maintaining clean and organized work areas, restocking supplies, and collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, courteous, and professional service.
• Assist with taking food and beverage orders accurately.
• Communicate special requests and order details to the appropriate team members.
• Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented.
• Deliver orders promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and assist with basic menu selections.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as needed.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Restock beverages, condiments, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service supplies.
• Help prepare dining areas and service stations for daily operations.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and coworkers to support timely order fulfillment.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate guest concerns, supply shortages, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and established service procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
