Restaurant Service Worker

Job Summary

Bludorn is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help deliver a positive dining experience. This role involves assisting guests, handling food and beverage orders, supporting food service activities, maintaining clean work areas, restocking supplies, and collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional service.
• Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing, assembling, and serving restaurant menu items as needed.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Communicate dietary requests and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service stations and workspaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, glassware, condiments, beverages, and other supplies.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and payment processing when assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order preparation.
• Clean and sanitize service areas, equipment, and work surfaces according to established procedures.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Handle food, beverages, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and refer complex concerns to supervisors.
• Communicate supply shortages, equipment concerns, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service procedures.
