Restaurant Service Worker

Job Summary

Staplehouse is seeking a dependable, friendly, and service-oriented Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help provide guests with a positive dining experience. This role assists with food and beverage service, order handling, dining area maintenance, supply restocking, and coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional service.
• Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Support food preparation, order assembly, and service tasks as assigned.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Communicate dietary preferences and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked service stations, counters, and workspaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, glassware, condiments, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and payment processing when assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support accurate and timely order preparation.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and refer complex concerns to supervisors.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, beverages, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully.
• Report supply shortages, equipment issues, and service concerns to management.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service procedures.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
