Restaurant Shift Leader

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is looking for dependable, motivated Shift Leaders to join our Durham team.

We are especially looking for leaders with morning and opening availability. If you're an early riser who enjoys leading a team, staying busy, and having much of your afternoon or evening free, this could be a great fit.

As a Shift Leader, you will help lead the café during your shift, support Crew Members, provide a great guest experience, and make sure the café is operating to our standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support Crew Members during your shift
• Help open and prepare the café for the day
• Provide fast, friendly guest service
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and café standards
• Keep the team organized during busy periods
• Help train and develop Crew Members
• Handle opening and closing responsibilities
• Follow food safety and operational procedures
• Set the example for reliability, teamwork, and professionalism

Previous restaurant or leadership experience is preferred, but not required. We will consider strong candidates with retail, customer service, or other leadership experience who are ready to take the next step.

Tips are additional to your hourly wage and currently average approximately $2 per hour.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
