Shift Supervisor

Shibuya Eatery is looking for a reliable and motivated Shift Supervisor to help lead our team and keep service running smoothly.

This is a hands-on position combining customer service and food preparation. You will interact with guests, work the front counter, prepare and fulfill orders behind the line, and help lead the team during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Operate the front counter and assist guests with orders
• Prepare, assemble, and fulfill food orders
• Help lead and support the team during service
• Communicate between the front counter and kitchen
• Handle cash and maintain accurate transactions
• Manage orders through third-party delivery apps
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle guest questions and concerns
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Step in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly

Required Experience

• Restaurant or fast-casual experience
• Toast POS experience
• Cash handling experience
• Third-party delivery app experience
• Spanish-speaking
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable working with guests and behind the line
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Japanese cuisine experience, but not required

About Shibuya Eatery

Shibuya is an upscale fast-casual Japanese restaurant with a scratch kitchen. We are a counter-service restaurant, with orders placed through kiosks, online, or at the cashier. There is no traditional table service or waitstaff.
