Restaurant Shift Leader

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage and train staff members, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain stock
• Implement and enforce proper food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Create and update employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide feedback
• Utilize POS system for order processing, payment transactions, and reporting
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shift management or assistant manager role within the food service industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures
• Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software
• Culinary background or understanding of food preparation techniques is preferred
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
• Passion for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
