Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests. The Shift Leader will be instrumental in managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and utilizing POS systems to facilitate smooth service. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during assigned shifts to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems accurately for order processing, billing, and reporting purposes.
• Oversee food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
• Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing support to staff.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs as necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
