Restaurant Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant Shift Lead/Keyed Hourly to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards in our culinary and bar offerings, as well as our Private Catering Events, and Breakfast Service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to training and developing staff to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Assist in managing daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth service across all areas, including Breakfast Service, Dinner and Bar Service, as well as Private Catered Events.
• Opportunity for additional pay through gratuity from working Private Events.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food standards and presentation.
• Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service delivery.
• Oversee kitchen management tasks, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service area.
• Address guest inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary or bar setting is preferred, ideally within a full-service restaurant environment.
• Proven skills in FOH management, staff training, and team management are essential.
• A background in food service operations will be beneficial for success in this role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

• Hospitality: 2 years (Preferred)
