About the Position

Genghis Grill is looking for a dependable, motivated Shift Lead to help lead our team and keep restaurant operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a positive leader who enjoys working with people, providing excellent guest service, and leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming guest experience
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and restaurant standards are maintained
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help train and coach team members
• Monitor food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally
• Keep the team organized and working efficiently
• Assist management with daily restaurant operations
• Complete assigned side work and shift responsibilities
• Help ensure online and takeout orders are prepared accurately
• Follow all Genghis Grill policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
• Reliable and responsible
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable directing and motivating a team
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
