Duties

• Lead and supervise restaurant team members during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality customer service
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to meet safety standards and maintain consistency in food quality
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with food production planning to minimize waste and optimize costs
• Train new staff members on food safety practices, customer service protocols, and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety policies across all areas of the restaurant
• Assist in managing budgets, analyzing profit and loss reports, and supporting overall restaurant profitability
• Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes and maintaining efficient workflow during busy hours
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure positive dining experiences
• Participate in interviewing potential team members and contribute to staff development initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or managing hospitality teams in casual or fine dining settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS; cash handling experience required
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and health regulations applicable to the food industry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit analysis
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team training
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory management
• Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is highly desirable
• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
