Restaurant Staff

Job Summary
The Boiler Room is seeking dependable Restaurant Staff members to support daily dining-room and restaurant operations. This position may assist with guest service, table preparation, food running, cleaning, and other service tasks while helping maintain a smooth and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Support servers and other front-of-house team members during service.
• Prepare and reset tables before and after guest seating.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
• Assist with clearing dishes, glassware, and table settings.
• Restock service stations, supplies, and dining-room items.
• Communicate guest requests and service needs to the appropriate team members.
• Follow restaurant service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with kitchen and service teams to keep operations running efficiently.
• Perform additional restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy dining environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Boiler Room is an ingredient-driven modern American restaurant located in Omaha's historic Old Market at 1110 Jones Street. The restaurant focuses on locally sourced ingredients, a changing menu, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive wine program.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31.0 per week
