Job Summary

Whiskey Bird is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused New American Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role assists with guest service, food and beverage service, order handling, dining area cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork across the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing and serving New American-style menu items, appetizers, entrées, sides, desserts, and beverages.
• Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and assist with basic menu selections.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Restock ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service supplies.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, ingredients, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Support effective teamwork and smooth restaurant operations throughout each shift.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
