Job Summary

Pinky's Westside Grill is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused American Restaurant Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive dining experience. This role involves assisting guests, handling food and beverage orders, supporting food preparation and service, maintaining clean work areas, and working collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing, assembling, and serving American-style menu items.
• Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and presented according to restaurant standards.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and assist with basic menu selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Restock ingredients, beverages, condiments, utensils, napkins, and other service supplies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist coworkers during busy service periods to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
