Job Summary

Home Slice Pizza is seeking a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Pizza Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help provide customers with quality food and excellent service. This role involves assisting with pizza preparation, handling customer orders, supporting food service, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately.
• Confirm pizza sizes, toppings, modifications, and special requests.
• Assist with preparing ingredients, toppings, sauces, and other menu items.
• Help assemble pizzas and prepare orders according to established procedures.
• Support food preparation, portioning, packaging, and order assembly.
• Serve pizzas, appetizers, sides, and beverages promptly when needed.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Answer basic customer questions about menu items and available options.
• Process customer payments using the point-of-sale system when assigned.
• Keep kitchen areas, counters, dining spaces, and service stations clean and organized.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to procedures.
• Restock ingredients, pizza boxes, napkins, containers, condiments, and other supplies.
• Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to support timely order completion.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate customer concerns, supply shortages, and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain food quality, order accuracy, and consistent service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, food service, kitchen, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and established food preparation procedures.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn pizza preparation techniques and restaurant operations.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
