Job Summary

Weights + Measures is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented New American Restaurant Crew Member to support daily restaurant operations and help provide guests with a welcoming dining experience. This role involves assisting with food preparation, guest service, order handling, food and beverage service, cleanliness, and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate works well with others and helps maintain efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with menu questions and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing and assembling menu items according to established procedures.
• Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Communicate dietary requests and allergy concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain clean and organized dining areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service stations and workspaces.
• Restock ingredients, utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other supplies.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and payment processing when assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support timely service.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate guest concerns, supply shortages, and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods.
• Perform other restaurant crew and service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items, food preparation methods, and restaurant procedures.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and responsible work habits.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on restaurant tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
