Job Summary

Pho Saigon is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Vietnamese Restaurant Team Member to support daily restaurant operations and help provide guests with a positive dining experience. This role includes assisting customers, handling orders, supporting food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with menu questions and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special instructions.
• Support the preparation and assembly of Vietnamese menu items according to established procedures.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, plating, and packaging as needed.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to help ensure timely order preparation.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments when assigned.
• Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Keep counters, service stations, kitchen workspaces, and dining areas organized.
• Restock ingredients, utensils, napkins, condiments, containers, and other supplies.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, tools, and equipment.
• Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Communicate customer concerns, supply shortages, and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support teammates during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Follow restaurant policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, Vietnamese food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant service standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and responsible work habits.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on restaurant tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
