Job Summary

Piccola Cucina Casa is seeking a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Italian Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide guests with a welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

The Italian Restaurant Service Worker will assist with guest service, food delivery, dining area preparation, cleaning, and general restaurant duties to help ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, attentive customer service.
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables.
• Help prepare dining areas, arrange tables, and organize service stations.
• Clear tables and reset dining spaces for incoming guests.
• Support restaurant staff with order coordination and guest requests.
• Assist with basic food preparation and food handling as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment when required.
• Restock napkins, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other restaurant supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, hosts, and management.
• Respond to guest needs professionally and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow restaurant policies and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by restaurant management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly attitude and a professional approach to guest service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled shifts as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine restaurant tasks.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.

Work Environment

This position is based in an Italian restaurant environment where teamwork, hospitality, and attention to detail are important. The role may involve working in dining areas, food service stations, and kitchen support spaces. Employees should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities during busy meal periods while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude.
