Restaurant Steward

Job Summary: To maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of all Front-of-House (FOH) areas of the restaurant, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff in accordance with company standards and food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• FOH areas remain clean, hygienic, and presentable throughout operating hours.
• Cleaning tasks are completed on time and according to company standards.
• Guest-facing areas are maintained without avoidable disruption to service.
• Cleaning equipment and supplies are handled and stored properly.
• Health, safety, and hygiene procedures are consistently followed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality cleaning is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, hygiene practices, and safe chemical handling.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and cooperate with the restaurant team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
