Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Join the talented team at Cantera Collective Pte Ltd as a Restaurant Supervisor in the Central Region. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our busy restaurant. With your extensive experience in the hospitality industry, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling
2. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests
3. Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback, coaching and training to help them develop their skills
4. Troubleshooting any issues that arise and taking appropriate action to resolve them
5. Assisting with menu planning, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organised restaurant environment
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant supervisor or management role
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
3. Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
4. Proficient in cash handling and inventory management
5. Knowledge of food safety and health regulations in the hospitality industry
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
