Restaurant Supervisor

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR | LAUNCESTON

We’re looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join the Native team in Launceston.

15–25 hours per week
£13.50–£14.50 per hour depending on experience + tips

Initially, the role will mainly be Friday and Saturday evenings, with the opportunity for additional hours as the restaurant grows.

We’re looking for someone who’s confident working in a busy restaurant, great with people and happy taking responsibility for a shift. You’ll be working alongside our management team to keep service running smoothly and make sure both the team and our customers are having a good one.

The usual stuff will include:

• Leading the FOH team during service
• Making sure customers are looked after from the minute they walk in
• Keeping service organised when things get busy
• Supporting and training the team
• Handling customer queries and sorting any issues that come up
• Opening and closing the restaurant
• Cashing up and completing end-of-night checks
• Keeping on top of cleanliness, standards and food safety
• Working closely with the kitchen to keep everything moving
• Getting stuck in wherever you’re needed

Restaurant experience is important and previous supervisory or team leader experience would be ideal.

More than anything, we want someone reliable, confident and friendly who can take charge of a busy shift, support the team and still have a laugh along the way.

You’ll need to be available Friday and Saturday evenings, particularly while we get the new restaurant properly up and running.
