Restaurant Support Associate

Job Summary

S&S Equipment Service Inc. is hiring a Restaurant Support Associate to assist with daily restaurant and food service operations. This role supports kitchen preparation, cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, order assistance, and general operational tasks while helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and order assembly
• Support kitchen and restaurant staff during busy service periods
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service areas
• Restock food products, beverages, packaging, and restaurant supplies
• Remove trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas
• Assist with receiving and organizing restaurant supplies
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Report equipment or maintenance concerns to management
• Perform additional restaurant support duties assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Experience in restaurant or commercial kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
