Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment regularly
• Buss tables efficiently, clearing dishes and resetting tables for new guests
• Support host/hostess duties by greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems while providing excellent customer service
• Support beverage preparation including coffee, cocktails, or soft drinks as needed
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards
• Contribute to catering or banquet setups when required, supporting large events with professionalism
• Provide friendly in-person customer service and maintain positive guest relations throughout their visit

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in catering, banquet service, or event support is a plus
• Basic knife skills, meat cutting, or culinary experience can enhance performance in this role
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and teamwork mindset
