Restaurant Team Lead

Job Summary

The Peach Cobbler Factory is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Restaurant Team Lead to join our Winston-Salem team!

Our Team Leads work alongside our team members to help create an upbeat, welcoming environment and an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and can help keep the team organized and running smoothly during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service and help create an exceptional experience for every guest.
• Lead by example and support team members throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and help ensure assigned responsibilities are completed.
• Help coordinate customer orders and maintain an efficient flow during busy periods.
• Prepare and serve our desserts according to Peach Cobbler Factory standards.
• Operate the POS system, process customer payments, and assist with cash-handling responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant.
• Follow and help reinforce food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Step in wherever needed to keep the shift running smoothly.

Experience

• Restaurant, food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable taking the lead and helping guide and support a team.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
• Punctual, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with POS systems, payment processing, food handling, and food safety practices is a plus.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $13.00–$15.00 per hour + tips
