Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary

Duke's Waikiki is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Restaurant Team Member to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support daily restaurant operations, assist guests, prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain clean and organized work areas, and work closely with team members to provide a welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards
• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
• Support servers, bartenders, and kitchen team members during busy service periods
• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately
• Maintain clean and organized dining, counter, kitchen, and service areas
• Restock food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and other restaurant supplies
• Assist with food and beverage presentation
• Answer guests' questions about menu items and available options
• Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred but not required
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
• Basic POS and cash-handling knowledge is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
