Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary
The Varsity is hiring Restaurant Team Members to support daily food-service operations, assist guests, and help keep the restaurant running efficiently. This is a fast-paced customer-service role suitable for both entry-level applicants and candidates with previous restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Take and accurately process food orders.
• Operate cash registers and other restaurant technology.
• Assist with food preparation and order assembly.
• Maintain clean and organized service areas.
• Restock food, packaging, and service supplies.
• Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work closely with team members during busy periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other assigned restaurant tasks.

Qualifications

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Must be at least 16 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds as required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

The Varsity is an Atlanta institution founded in 1928 and operates its original downtown Atlanta restaurant at 61 North Avenue NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. The restaurant is known for its classic American fast-food menu and long history in Atlanta.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
