Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Assist in food handling duties such as stocking supplies, food prep, and ensuring proper food storage practices.
• Support team members with food service tasks like serving customers, managing queues in quick service or fast-food environments, and supporting kitchen operations when needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus.
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants helps you adapt quickly to high-paced settings.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
