Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary
Modern Bar and Restaurant is looking for a dependable Restaurant Team Member to support daily dining and bar operations. This position works across guest service, food and beverage support, cleaning, and other front-of-house tasks to help create an efficient and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist with taking and delivering food and beverage orders as assigned.
• Support servers, bartenders, and other team members during service.
• Keep tables, service areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Restock dining and service stations throughout the shift.
• Help with food preparation and other restaurant tasks when needed.
• Process basic customer transactions accurately when assigned.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate concerns to management.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant operating procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About The Company
Modern Bar and Restaurant is a downtown Boise dining and cocktail destination located in the Linen District. The restaurant combines a casual atmosphere with food, cocktails, wine, and hospitality-focused service.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29.0 per week
