Restaurant Team Member

Job Summary

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is looking for a friendly, dependable Restaurant Team Member to support guests and daily restaurant operations. This flexible role may assist with guest service, order preparation, dining-room upkeep, food service, and other duties needed to keep each shift running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist with taking orders, serving food, and handling guest requests.
• Support front-of-house and kitchen teams during busy service periods.
• Prepare, package, and organize dine-in or takeout orders as assigned.
• Maintain clean and organized dining, counter, and service areas.
• Restock supplies, utensils, condiments, and other service items.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness standards.
• Check orders for accuracy and help resolve basic guest concerns.
• Operate POS and payment systems when assigned.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift-change duties.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and shift leaders.
• Perform additional restaurant duties based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
