Job Summary

Tender Greens is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Restaurant Team Member to support daily restaurant operations and help create a welcoming dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will work well with others, communicate clearly, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

The Restaurant Team Member may assist with food preparation, order handling, dining-area organization, and general service duties according to the needs of the restaurant. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys teamwork, values cleanliness, and is willing to learn different responsibilities across restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous assistance when needed.
• Support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations as assigned.
• Assist with food preparation and portioning according to restaurant procedures.
• Help assemble and package orders accurately.
• Keep preparation stations, counters, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Restock ingredients, utensils, packaging, and service supplies.
• Communicate with kitchen and service team members to help maintain efficient operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures.
• Store ingredients properly and follow food-labeling and rotation guidelines.
• Assist with dishwashing and routine cleaning when needed.
• Help prepare workstations for opening and complete closing duties.
• Follow restaurant policies and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a professional attitude and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food-service, or hospitality experience is preferred but may not be required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures.
• Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine physical tasks safely.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with different restaurant duties.
