Duties

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining environment for guests.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
