Restaurant Waiter/Waitress

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, taking orders accurately, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
