Restaurant waitress

Job Summary

The Restaurant Waitress is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a polite and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Check regularly on guests' needs and satisfaction.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables and service areas.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and inform the supervisor when necessary.
• Prepare cutlery, crockery, glassware, napkins, and other service items.
• Process or assist with guest bills and payments as required.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and safety standards.
• Assist the restaurant team during busy periods and special functions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10th/12th qualification preferred.
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive and responsible attitude.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
